Classes & Training
This beginner-friendly session walks you through the core parts of a semi-automatic pistol and a revolver, explaining how each system cycles and how ammunition functions in the chamber. We cover universal firearm-safety rules, proper range etiquette, and the mindset you need to build lifelong safe habits.
You’ll learn correct stance, grip, and sight alignment using inert dummy guns, so you can focus on mechanics without recoil or muzzle blast. Instructors also demystify common terminology—caliber, magazine vs. clip, single-action vs. double-action—so you’ll feel confident asking questions at the counter or on the range.
By the end of the classroom block, you’ll know how to inspect a handgun for safe condition and load or unload it under supervision.
After mastering the basics indoors, you’ll step onto the range for hands-on drills that reinforce proper grip pressure, sight picture, and trigger press. We start at three yards, focusing on slow, deliberate shots to map recoil and confirm natural point of aim.
Once accuracy is consistent, students progress to controlled pairs and simple reloads, always under a one-to-one instructor watch. You’ll leave with a personalized improvement plan and the confidence to continue safe, effective practice on your own.
Classes are non-refundable, however may be transferred to a different date if contacted PRIOR to 72 hours of course.
Students rescheduling classes within 72 hour window will forfeit 50% of registration fee.
